Our take on Night Patrol
Players who need frequent action may bounce off when the shift settles into repeated walking between the office, store area, and warehouse to activate panels. Those expecting a single fixed conclusion may also stop at the branching panel-order system and its multiple endings.
What is Night Patrol?
Night Patrol casts the player as a newly hired night security guard working a shift in a large, abandoned mart.
The main task is to move through the building and activate patrol panels placed across the office, retail area, and warehouse. As the patrol continues, unusual events occur during the shift, and completing the assigned duty leads toward uncovering the truth. The pentagram panels can be completed in a normal, inverted, or random sequence. These order choices provide multiple endings, giving the patrol structure more than one possible conclusion. The game focuses on walking through the mart, checking its different areas, activating each required panel, and responding to the strange developments encountered along the route.
How Night Patrol plays
- 01Mart Patrol Areas
- The route covers the office, shop floor, and warehouse within the abandoned building.
- 02Panel Order Choices
- Pentagram panels can be activated in standard, reversed, or randomized sequences.
- 03Multiple Endings
- Different panel sequences lead to more than one conclusion.
- 04Strange Events
- Unusual occurrences interrupt the guard’s assigned shift as the patrol progresses.
Night Patrol compared to similar games
Night Patrol centers on walking through a mart, activating panels, and uncovering events across multiple endings. Jusant instead focuses on climbing a tower, managing stamina, and exploring routes, while Angels of Death is presented as an RPG Maker spin-off rather than a patrol-based mystery.
