Kyuuhei Inui dismisses rumors that players of BAD END die in real life until his best friend dies while playing it.
Seeking the truth, he enters the game himself and investigates the circumstances behind the death. The story changes according to the decisions made, creating branching outcomes around Kyuuhei's attempt to uncover the mystery. BAD END is a short visual novel with a surprising conclusion. After completing the story, players can revisit its CG and music collections. The game uses the ADV+++ engine, which is presented as being made for visual novels.
