Backrooms Mainframe is a cooperative horror game for 1–6 players set in labyrinthine levels inspired by the Backrooms creepypasta.
Players are sent underground to explore areas, assess their dangers, avoid entities, and find a way through. Alongside its standard exploration, the game includes a Dungeon Crawler mode with five selectable levels. This mode uses randomized procedural generation, creating a different layout for each playthrough. The game combines visual and sound design intended to place players in the Backrooms setting with team-based exploration for groups of up to four players.
