Our take on Backgammon Blitz
Rather than keeping every match within traditional backgammon, the game adds a Blitz format with arcade-style power-ups. It also mixes the board game's usual face-to-face rhythm with asynchronous play, real-time matchmaking, online rankings, and in-game voice chat.
What is Backgammon Blitz?
Backgammon Blitz presents the traditional two-player race to remove all checkers from the board, with standard rules and variants.
Games can be played solo, locally, online, asynchronously, or through real-time Quick Play matchmaking. Online leaderboards track players across regions, while voice chat supports communication during matches. Blitz Mode changes the regular format with arcade-style action and power-ups. Tutorials introduce the rules to beginners, and players can progress from novice to experienced play. The game also includes a board design by Alexandra Llewellyn and high-definition photographic visuals.
