Our take on Mystic Vale
The card-crafting system offers many ways to shape a deck, but the push-your-luck structure makes experimentation costly: overextending can remove a turn and the chance to obtain a wanted card.
What is Mystic Vale?
Mystic Vale is a digital deck-building card game about guiding a druidic clan in restoring the Valley of Life.
Players begin with the same 20 cards and improve them by purchasing advancements for each card’s three available slots. Different abilities can be combined to create varied card effects and play styles. Turns include a push-your-luck choice: excessive power can overwhelm the land, causing a missed turn and lost opportunities. Matches support AI practice, online public or private rooms, cross-platform play between PC, Android, and iOS, and local hotseat games for up to 4 people. Match settings can include expansions, an extended card pool, and turn timers.
How Mystic Vale plays
- 01Card advancement system
- Each of the starting 20 cards has three slots that can receive purchased upgrades with distinct abilities and properties.
- 02Push-your-luck turns
- Taking on too much power can spoil the hand, skip the turn, and prevent collection of a desired card.
- 03Online multiplayer
- Public and private rooms support matches across PC, Android, and iOS.
- 04Local hotseat play
- A shared device can host matches for up to 4 people.
- 05Custom match settings
- Players can choose an expanded card pool, include or exclude expansions, and add turn timers.
- 06AI practice matches
- Computer opponents provide a way to play before entering online matches.
