Our take on B.I.O.T.A.
Rather than keeping its action-platforming structure confined to a single character and movement style, the game adds character rotation, submarine missions, mech combat, and space chases. Its visual identity is also adjustable through 54 four-color palettes, replacing a fixed retro presentation with player-selected variants.

I. O. T. A. is a 2D action-platformer set in a mining colony overwhelmed by an alien plague. Players lead eight mercenaries, switching between characters with different skills and weapons while exploring pixel-art environments filled with mutant monsters and traps. The campaign includes two endings and tasks such as rescuing scientists and investigating V-corp’s illegal activity. Combat uses multiple guns, while arcade stages add submarine control, mech battles, and starship chases. The game also includes time trials and target shooting. Visuals can be changed during play through 54 unlockable four-color palettes.
