The defining setup is a journey through the lower world of Koyte, a planet whose surviving life and air are beneath the surface in vast cave systems.
What is AVA?
AVA is an adventure game about a girl from Koyte who must escape a dungeon and investigate what happened to her world.
The journey takes place in tunnels beneath the planet’s surface, where abandoned passages contain puzzles, doors, keys, switches, levers, and mechanisms governed by physics. Koyte is divided into an upper world inhabited by intelligent creatures and a dangerous lower world filled with predators. The game presents this setting in black and white, with a gloomy dungeon atmosphere. Its events occur in the same world as BlackEye, two years after that game’s adventures.
