What is Autonauts?
Autonauts is a colony-building simulation centered on automation.
Players begin on an uninhabited planet by gathering basic materials, crafting items from blueprints, and creating workerbots. Bots receive instructions through a visual programming system based on repeated actions, then carry out work across farming, building, cooking, fishing, tailoring, animal care, and production. Colonists can also be introduced, creating additional needs for the colony to manage. Expansion includes bot upgrades, storage transporters, shared code through a bot database, and a settlement mode with a 300-bot limit. The game combines resource gathering, crafting, construction, agriculture, and production management in a low-poly environment.
