Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking compact maps may find the campaign’s broad North African battlefield less suited to short-range engagements.
- Players who prefer small-unit tactics may find the focus on battalions, brigades, divisions and air wings too operational in scale.
- Players looking for a setting outside the WWII North African theatre may prefer another game.
Our take on Attack at Dawn: North Africa
The game pairs fast real-time play with a turn-based option, so its emphasis on the speed of desert fighting does not mean every session must use real-time pacing. Its broad map and command of formations from battalions to air wings place operational play at the center.
