Our take on Astra Exodus
Its defining structure is the combination of a turn-based 4X galaxy layer with separate real-time space battles and initiative-based ground combat.
What is Astra Exodus?
Astra Exodus is a single-player science-fiction 4X strategy game combining turn-based galactic management with real-time tactical battles in space and initiative-based battles on the ground.
Its campaign follows the Earth Legacy Task Force across 9 missions, with choices that alter the story and gameplay. Sandbox mode supports 8 main factions, custom factions, several victory conditions, galaxy events, and menaces. Players can research more than 300 technologies through a semi-randomized grid, recruit heroes for fleets, colonies, or covert operations, and design starships from weapons, cores, and support systems. The game also includes a battle simulator, ship editor, hotseat multiplayer on one computer, maps with over 200 star systems, and files that can be modified for custom content.
