Our take on Arcade Party
The party format trades sustained depth in one gameplay system for variety across many mini-games. That structure suits changing activities, but players seeking a deeply developed single mechanic may find the experience less focused.
What is Arcade Party?
Arcade Party is a co-op party game built around arcade-inspired mini-games.
Players progress through stages by clearing the games blocking their path, with different effects appearing across stages. The game includes more than 20 mini-games in its Early Access version, with additional content planned for the full release. Single-player, online multiplayer, and local multiplayer modes are available across the mini-games and game modes. Local sessions support up to four players on one computer, while additional local players require gamepads. Players can collect arcade coins during play and spend them on character costumes. The story follows a mysterious console that has taken a streamer, with players joining forces to reach them.
