Skip it if you…

- Players wanting live versus battles may not prefer an arena that replays ranked players’ actions
- Solo players without two gamepads cannot use the two-player modes
Our take on Tactics Greed
The arena is presented as a global ranking mode, but its battles replay ranked players’ actions rather than using live communication. The emphasis on short sessions and simple rules also sets this apart from large-scale RTS formats.
What is Tactics Greed?
Tactics Greed combines real-time strategy with deck building, using units and magic as tactical options.
Players enter dungeons to collect cards and recruit companions such as knights, wizards, and large units that fire bombs from behind. Arena matches use asynchronous communication, replaying ranked players’ action patterns for versus battles. The game also includes cooperative and competitive modes for two players. In cooperative play, one participant can control a commander while the other directs fellow units. Two gamepads are required for two-player sessions. The vendor presents short playing times, simple rules, mouse-based controls, and cute characters for people new to RTS games. The card-based format and action RTS structure are also presented for experienced RTS players.
