Our take on AquaNox
Rather than placing action on land or in conventional arenas, AquaNox moves its combat into a hostile underwater setting. Its structure combines a 34-mission campaign with LAN and internet deathmatches and team battles, replacing a single combat format with several mission and multiplayer modes.
What is AquaNox?
Set in the 27th century, AquaNox places players in command of Emerald “Dead Eye” Flint, a mercenary operating among warring human forces and dangerous sea creatures.
The campaign contains 34 missions built around individual and team combat in an underwater world with mountain ranges, caverns, currents, and submerged cities. Enemies include rival mercenaries, military forces, and more than 40 hostile creatures and monsters. Multiplayer modes support LAN and internet play, including deathmatches and team battles. The game presents its action through a real-time 3D environment with an atmospheric soundtrack and music.

AquaNox compared to similar games
AquaNox focuses on a 34-mission underwater combat campaign with LAN and internet deathmatches and team battles. Hentai Vs Furries is a third-person shooter with quests, gunplay, five camera angles, and skin unlocking, while Abyssus combines multiplayer shooting with roguelite progression, hand-crafted levels, and weapon refitting. These alternatives do not share AquaNox's underwater mercenary setting or its stated 34-mission structure.
