Our take on APICO
Bee breeding forms the core structure: players cross-breed bees to discover more than 45 species, then use crafting, habitat creation, and conservation activities to expand and restore the island’s bee population.
What is APICO?
APICO is a relaxed beekeeping simulation set across several environments.
Players gather resources, use crafting and beekeeping minigames, and breed bees to discover more than 45 species. The game includes solitary bees, habitat creation, butterfly collecting, honey and other product sales, and efforts to restore lost species to the wild. Different biomes contain distinct bee species, while the islands hold hidden secrets to uncover. Progression is driven by the beekeeping and crafting activities. APICO also supports online co-op for up to 4 players and modding after completing the game. A free demo includes the first 15 bee species, but demo saves cannot transfer to the full game.
