Our take on An Amazing Wizard
The page highlights large counts of spells, artifacts, perks, and upgrades, while the core structure centers on repeated runs with permanent death and no checkpoints. Its five nonlinear levels recur across changing worlds and level orders, rather than forming a fixed linear sequence.
What is An Amazing Wizard?
An Amazing Wizard is a 2D action roguelike with metroidvania-inspired exploration and spell creation.
Players combine seven elements with more than 120 spells, enchantments, artifacts, and perks to build different play styles, including summoning, melee combat, and projectile attacks. Runs span five nonlinear levels and procedurally generated worlds, with hidden rooms, challenges, trap caves, enemies, elites, and bosses. Death removes items found during a run, while permanent upgrades can change starting items and statistics, add elements to the world, or increase the chances of finding better items.
The worlds can become more distorted, and enemies can gain new tricks and grow stronger. The game also includes magic weapons, more than 50 challenges, multiple save slots, and a stated playtime of about 50–80 hours or more.
