Our take on Akin
The single-line rule keeps the interaction focused, but that focus limits the game to route planning and tile-state changes. Players seeking combat, exploration, or character progression will find little beyond its puzzle structure.
What is Akin?
Akin is a tile puzzle game built around drawing one uninterrupted line.
Passing over a tile changes its color between orange and blue, and each puzzle is completed when all tiles match. It includes 96 Normal-mode puzzles and 96 Time-mode puzzles, with multiple possible solutions for each. The game starts with basic challenges and unlocks harder puzzles. Special tiles add different routing rules: Teleport tiles move the line to another location, while Double Use tiles can be crossed twice and are required in some levels. Steamworks integration provides achievements, badges, trading cards, and other Steam features.
