SimulationIs AirportSim worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Aviation enthusiasts who want procedural airport ground operations rather than flight simulation
- Players who prefer structured tasks and vehicle handling over combat or exploration
- Friends seeking cooperative airport activities with shared ground-service duties
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking flight controls, airborne missions, or an aviation career beyond ground handling
- Those who prefer fast-changing action, since much of the play centers on repeated procedural turnaround tasks
- Players looking for a broad roster of airports and aircraft beyond the included locations and models
Our take on AirportSim
Its focus on ground procedures gives the game a specific operational identity, but that focus limits the experience to airport service work. Players looking for piloting, broader aviation management, or varied mission types may find the activity narrow.
What is AirportSim?
AirportSim is an airport ground-handling simulator built around aircraft turnaround operations.
Players guide aircraft, secure planes, connect ground power units, refuel, handle luggage, move jetways, provide catering, and operate other ground services. The game includes recreated airports such as Vágar, Keflavík, Warsaw Chopin, and Key West, along with Airbus A320neo and 737 MAX aircraft and a range of licensed ground vehicles. Weather can follow real-time METAR data or be selected manually. Scenario mode uses ordered flight plans, weather, and tasks; Challenge mode uses a scoreboard; Cooperation supports playing with friends; and Free Play removes task rules. Steam Workshop content includes custom aircraft skins and gameplay scenarios.
