Our take on Aground Zero
The focus on mining, construction, automation, and survivor recruitment leaves less room for a purely linear adventure structure. Local co-op also uses mixed input requirements: only one player can use keyboard and mouse, while the others need controllers.
What is Aground Zero?
After the end of the world, mine ores and build an underground base with help from a personal AI companion and a protosuit.
Expand and automate the settlement, awaken other survivors, and bring them to the base. The search for the surface also leads to encounters with creatures described as non-native to Earth. Aground Zero is a 3D spin-off set during the same events as Aground, although knowledge of that game is not required. Local co-op supports up to four players. One player can use keyboard and mouse, while each additional player needs a separate controller; all players can use controllers instead.
