Our take on AETHUS
The cozy surface activities and adjustable settings may make the game sound primarily relaxed, but the core loop also includes resource extraction, equipment upgrades, deeper exploration, and a corporate-conspiracy storyline.
What is AETHUS?
Play as Maeve, a former mining engineer who takes control of an underground mining claim beyond the Astral Resource Corporation’s influence.
Explore abandoned expedition facilities, gather hundreds of resources with lasers, explosives, drills, and other equipment, then refine materials into tools and items. Build a modular surface outpost with processing, refining, and crafting stations. Habitats support crop growing, fish raising, gem prospecting, and decoration with found objects. Upgrade Maeve’s suit and AI drone companion to reach deeper areas. The story follows a mystery involving a new element and corporate secrets.
