The game does not present a clear departure from the usual zombie-action structure. Its central loop follows familiar genre conventions: fight zombie masses, face special and boss variants, improve equipment, and use power boosters, with online co-op for 2 to 4 players.
What is A Mass of Dead?
Set in a near-future city affected by a zombie virus, the game follows Sara, a special agent searching for a vaccine after receiving a rescue signal from a laboratory.
Players fight masses of zombies, including special types such as zombie dogs and explosion zombies, as well as boss enemies. Weapons and equipment can be bought and upgraded through the shop. Special zombies provide unique weapons and equipment that cannot be bought there. Power boosters are available during the fight against the zombie hordes. Online co-op supports 2 to 4 players.
