Our take on A Healer Only Lives Twice
The premise emphasizes healing and support, while progression also requires repeated runs to earn upgrade points. Torch limits add time pressure, and the strongest all-enemy attack removes the defeated monsters’ item and experience rewards.
What is A Healer Only Lives Twice?
This real-time command strategy game places the player in the role of a Priest supporting a Knight through dungeon battles.
Choose skills to restore the Knight’s HP, improve the effectiveness of their abilities, and guide which opponent they attack next. Gather items and resources for crafting, gain levels, and face increasingly strong monster tiers, including enemies with unusual attacks. Each dungeon tier has a limited number of torches, so the pair must advance before they burn out. A red ball found in each tier lets the Knight defeat all remaining enemies with one powerful attack, but those enemies yield no items or experience. The game requires repeated playthroughs to earn points for healer upgrades.
