Our take on 88 Heroes
The defining structure is its 88-character roster: each stage uses heroes with different abilities, while a defeated hero is removed from the available group.
What is 88 Heroes?
88 Heroes is an action platforming game featuring 88 playable superheroes, each with a different special ability.
The goal is to pass through 88 levels in Dr. H8’s lair, spread across four worlds, while avoiding hazards and attacking enemies. Each stage has an 88-second limit, and an 88-minute doomsday timer is already running. If a hero dies, that character is lost from the available group. The order of the heroes changes each time the game is played. Players can attempt the stages with their preferred group of eight heroes or with a single character. The objective is to reach Dr. H8’s penthouse in his orbiting space station and save Earth from the threatened destruction.
