The Star Guardians defend Earth from alien monsters in a turn-based RPG presented in an eight-color pixel style.
Choose the order for facing eight bosses: defeating weaker opponents unlocks skills that can be used against tougher ones. After a loss, teammates offer advice, and boss outcomes reveal more about the heroines and their relationships. Story Mode includes dialogue, hints, and character interactions. Arcade Mode challenges players to defeat every enemy within a set number of turns. The Steam edition also includes a second story chapter set one year after the first, unlockable costumes earned by clearing Story and Arcade modes, updated settings and interface, and support for joypad, keyboard, and mouse controls.
