Our take on ZpellCatz
Combat is restricted to magic: every hero and enemy is a spell caster, with no swords, daggers, or bows. That spell-only constraint defines the encounters, while class-and-path choices shape the cat hero's role.
What is ZpellCatz?
ZpellCatz is an action RPG set on a cursed island, where a cat hero fights through dungeons and develops magical abilities.
Combat uses spells only: heroes and enemies are spell casters, with no swords, daggers, or bows. Choose a hero class and a path, then explore procedurally generated dungeons for normal, special, and rare items with randomized affixes, as well as over 150 epic items. A dark campaign includes a main story and optional quests.
After finishing it, players can enter the Intermediate Realm for late-game dungeons, challenges, rewards, and secrets. A bat Familiar can accompany the hero; local multiplayer supports a gamepad, or the Familiar can be controlled by the CPU. Character creation offers Challenging difficulty and two permadeath modes, including Cat-core with 7 lives.
