Our take on Zoochosis
The store page emphasizes mutant animals, survival, and multiple endings, but the zookeeper role also involves routine duties such as meal preparation, enclosure cleaning, and supply restocking. The game therefore combines horror and mystery with animal-care tasks.
What is Zoochosis?
Take on a zookeeper’s first overnight shift at a zoo where illness causes animals to transform into hostile mutants.
Daily duties include caring for the animals, selecting and preparing their food, feeding them, cleaning their enclosures, and replenishing supplies. The zookeeper must also determine which creatures are affected, uncover the source of the disease, develop a vaccine, and treat the animals. Decisions shape which creatures are rescued and whether the zookeeper makes it through the shift. The choices also determine the ending as the zoo’s mystery comes to light.
