Our take on ROCK
The description emphasizes a broad set of survival systems, but its concrete examples center on gathering, hunting, crafting, smelting, and building. It gives little detail about how these activities progress or vary over time.
What is ROCK?
ROCK is a survival game set on an island after a virus has infected the population.
The player is the last survivor and must gather materials, hunt animals, and craft items to stay alive. Hunting provides meat and ingredients for production. Crafting covers weapons, bullets, melee weapons, and materials. A building system lets players construct a house and furnish it with equipment. The game also includes smelting in a furnace, zombie-like monsters, and a day-and-night cycle. Its activities focus on collecting resources and making items for survival in the infected island setting.
