- Players wanting a story-led adventure rather than repeated shooter missions may find the campaign structure too focused on runs and survival choices.
Our take on Zombie Hunter, Inc.
The bounce point arrives after a death: the game offers three random survivors instead of simply restoring the previous character. Players who want consistent character development may also hit resistance when missions force a choice between securing progress and risking a longer outing for loot.
What is Zombie Hunter, Inc.?
Play as a hired zombie hunter who rescues stranded survivors for payment.
The top-down shooter uses a helicopter-style camera that lets players aim at zombie heads and explore the world from a different angle. Its roguelike campaign centers on choices with lasting consequences: abandon a mission to preserve the current survivor, or continue and risk death; return for a fallen character’s items, or leave them behind; retreat before nightfall, or stay for more loot while risking a swarm. After death, choose one of three randomly selected survivors, each with different strengths and weaknesses. The game also includes guns and gadgets with distinct mechanics that require learning.
