Vzerthos is a 2D isometric top-down shooter set in an old-school techno-fantasy world.
The player controls the heir of the Thunder God, who must recover stolen magical abilities, enter Baron Vakhzon’s castle, and rescue the kidnapped princess Se’Vera. Combat combines supernatural skills with three types of guns, allowing attacks that cut, burn, and blow up enemies. The visual style uses pre-rendered low-poly models and hand-drawn elements. Small comics tell the game’s story. A text file allows interface elements to be repositioned and visually changed. Localization text can also be edited to correct translations or create a new language.
