Our take on Zero Orders Tactics
The indirect-control design gives up conventional tactical commands. Units follow fixed movement rules, leaving terrain changes and unit-class alterations as the main ways to influence how battles develop.
What is Zero Orders Tactics?
A puzzle strategy game where the battlefield is the main tool for directing combat.
Rather than issuing conventional orders, players reshape the land by raising mountains, flooding valleys, and changing unit classes. Units move independently according to fixed pathfinding rules, while core combat has no output randomness, allowing actions to be planned in advance. The battlefield changes every turn through player choices. Each run uses a distinct deck of spells and units, and additional heroes can be unlocked with different starting styles. Input randomness may still occur during core gameplay, while other forms of randomness can appear between battles.
