Warp Gates give the maze shooter a teleportation mechanic: Zoey can move instantly between locations instead of relying only on the corridors.
What is Zap Zone?
Zap Zone is a maze shooter in which Zoey, a space vigilante, moves through a base amid a rebellion by colorful alien creatures called Zugs.
Players choose routes through the corridors and use weapons and parts of the environment to fight the creatures and try to return them to their cells. The arsenal includes three ammunition types: Standard Energy, Bouncing Energy and Death Ray. Ground mines, explosive barrels and crates that can be destroyed add hazards and obstacles to encounters. Warp Gates let Zoey teleport between locations. The game includes 3 different zones, along with 12 Steam trading cards and 26 Steam achievements.
