Our take on 8BitBoy™
The bounce point arrives when the platforming shifts from basic movement to demanding challenges. Players who do not enjoy searching through levels for hidden locations, managing power-ups, or facing boss battles may stall once those systems become part of progression.
What is 8BitBoy™?
8BitBoy is a classic platformer with five worlds and 56 levels.
Its main story lasts 8–12 hours and includes more than 300 hidden locations, secret warp zones, power-ups, coin collecting, and boss battles. The story begins when an unemployed character finds an old console and a strange cartridge, then enters a decaying world of platforming. The game pays tribute to platformers from the 1980s and 1990s and presents challenges described as demanding rather than unfair.
