Our take on Stick Slasher
The wave-based structure keeps the focus on combat and scoring, but sacrifices campaign variety and exploration. The optional co-op mode also carries beta-stage limitations, including possible synchronization problems and untranslated interface text.
What is Stick Slasher?
Battle continuous enemy waves in a two-dimensional fighter with multiple weapon choices.
Foes range from ordinary attackers and dual-wielding or oversized sword users to sword-casting mages, airborne mages, and tarantula sticks. Later rounds introduce more enemy variety and greater difficulty. Three scoring categories—head strikes, defeats, and mercy—record performance and also modify the challenge. Steam offers a beta mode for two participants playing together over the internet; it can have defects, syncing issues, and interface wording that remains untranslated. Matches emphasize rapid reactions, adapting tactics to enemy types, and chasing higher scores through repeated wave encounters.
How Stick Slasher plays

- Performance is measured through head slashes, kills, and mercy actions, and the results influence combat difficulty.
- 03Online Co-op Beta
- The Steam edition offers optional two-player online play in a beta that may have bugs, synchronization issues, and untranslated interface text.
