Our take on Zamarian
Movement is confined by two on-screen rings that mark the area available to the ship, making positioning within a visible boundary the defining control choice.
What is Zamarian?
Zamarian is an arcade shoot 'em up set in a space-themed world where players fight aliens threatening the planet.
It includes single-player and multiplayer modes, boss encounters, ship and weapon upgrades, and coins and gems used for purchases. Three fighter types have different health levels and access to mostly exclusive weapons. Movement takes place within boundaries shown by two rings around the screen. There is no fixed life count; players can buy another ship before the current one is destroyed. Starting a new game keeps the gem total but resets the score. Multiplayer includes a temporary booster that changes the ship into a heavy fighter with a weapon. The game also features rock and chiptune music.
