This VR visual novel places the player at a desk while the story follows two elementary school children dealing with family problems.
Set in rural Japan during the mid-1990s, it depicts a time when internet access was limited and few adults owned mobile phones. The narrative centers on Shuji, a fifth-grader who frequently moves house, and his growing distrust of friendships. After hearing a local school legend from Goto, Shuji becomes involved in a mystery that Nami initially dismisses as a rumor. Players turn virtual pages, experience the children’s fear and distress, investigate a classroom associated with the Evening, and uncover the owner of a sketchbook and the identity behind the viewpoint.
