What is Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim?
Adol Christin is shipwrecked on Canaan, an isolated archipelago inhabited by the Rehda, after pirates are attacked by the Romuns.
The game combines exploration with fast real-time combat using elemental swords and magical abilities. Large bosses and Ys rock music accompany encounters, while the story connects to the wider Ys timeline. This PC release adds Catastrophe Mode, where healing items cannot be bought or stored, plus high-resolution graphics, widescreen support, gamepad support, checkpoint warping, Steam achievements, leaderboards, and a digital art book. It presents the first 3D Ys game with an original translation and additional release-specific gameplay features.
