Our take on Xenia's Ark
Players focused mainly on individual battles may bounce when the game shifts into empire administration. The likely wall arrives during the management of research, diplomacy, supply routes, trade, and espionage across its three map types.
What is Xenia's Ark?
Xenia’s Ark is a turn-based 4X strategy game about restoring an empire in an unfamiliar galaxy after escaping a collapsing one.
Each campaign uses procedurally created maps at planetary, star-system, and galactic scales. Players select one of six empires and configure the Ark’s initial resources, forces, modules, and leader. Technologies support city development, military preparation, territorial growth, and wider influence. Mechs and Ships can be fitted for different missions and used in tactical battles on planets or in space.
Leaders may oversee cities or direct military units. Diplomatic options include exchanging goods, sharing research, signing agreements, issuing demands, and declaring war. Supply networks distribute resources within the empire, while trade routes connect it with other powers. Espionage allows spies to enter rival cities, disrupt resource collection, take money, observe nearby empires, and defend domestic assets.
