Our take on Writers
The bounce point arrives when typing accuracy and speed become the whole contest. Players who want varied interaction will hit the wall at the passage-entry screen, where progress depends on racing through text, managing mistakes, and repeating similar challenges.
What is Writers?
Writers is a typing game built around racing through randomly selected book excerpts.
Players can compete against friends or online opponents, choose from eight modes, and enter English or Russian language leagues. Modes include duels, fixed passages, marathons, error-focused challenges, and number-based typing. The game includes 22 unlockable characters, separate statistics for each language league, leaderboards, achievements, and tracking for characters per minute, mistakes, and other results. Its competitive structure centers on finishing passages quickly while limiting errors. Regular play uses touch-typing practice as part of the progression, with results recorded for comparison in each league.
