Our take on Worshippers
The description gives the story a ten-night frame, but its practical detail centers on scenarios, card unlocks, and deck creation. It identifies four gods and a conversion goal without explaining how the ten tales develop across the scenarios.
What is Worshippers?
Worshippers combines turn-based strategy with collectible cards.
Players guide a small tribe through hostile land, explore randomly generated maps and fight tactical battles. Scenarios unlock cards that can be used to develop strategies and create decks. Victories also unlock units, spells and buildings. The setting draws on Slavic mythology, with four gods to choose from. The game frames its story as ten tales told over ten nights, as a sage seeks to convert villagers to new gods. A single scenario can be finished in half an hour, and the game includes over 150 cards.
