Our take on Worlds of Chaos: Invasion
Open-ended party construction trades predefined roles for greater responsibility during setup. Building a group means working out which statistics, abilities, equipment, and magic combinations function together, rather than selecting established classes with fixed identities.
What is Worlds of Chaos: Invasion?
Worlds of Chaos: Invasion is a single-player, party-based tactical RPG set in an open world.
Players create and control a group of five characters without class restrictions, combining attributes, abilities, equipment, items, and magic. Combat runs in real time with pausing, requiring decisions about ability use, positioning, targets, gear, and consumables. An injury system weakens characters after they are hit, making varied attack choices important. Encounters call for different approaches rather than one reliable tactic. The game includes exploration, fast travel to discovered locations, automatic corpse looting, shopping, and party management. It is in Early Access and currently contains 21 hours of content playable from beginning to end.
