Our take on Wolf's Fury
The retro-era framing and revenge premise set expectations, but the stated structure is compact: 7 levels, 8 bosses, and 2 secret bosses. The adventure element is described as a small addition, so the central draw is the beat ’em up rather than a broad exploration game.
What is Wolf's Fury?
Play as Wolger, a genetically modified wolf pursuing Doctor Scandalious, who changed him into a beast.
This 2D beat ’em up draws on 8- and 16-bit games and arcade play, with some adventure elements. Fight enemies using different powers and objects, and progress through 7 levels. The game has 8 bosses to defeat, along with 2 secret bosses to find or unlock. Story Mode and Arcade Mode offer two ways to play. Its soundtrack was composed by Romain Favre, who also worked on Vairon’s Wrath, and characters called the Floubyh’s from that game appear here. Steam achievements and cards are also included.
