Our take on Cogs and Cowboys
Rather than keeping movement behind a screen, this shooter makes physical positioning part of combat. Ducking, diving, crawling, and rolling around cover replace the usual stationary aiming rhythm, while western weapons and steam-powered machines place the action in a mechanical frontier setting.
What is Cogs and Cowboys?
Cogs and Cowboys is a VR action shooter set in a steam-driven western setting.
Its present build offers six guns: a shortened double-barrel shotgun, lever-operated rifle, rotary-barrel gun, revolver configured for long-range shooting, large pistol, and fast-firing pistol. A forearm-mounted barrier restores itself after excessive damage, while time dilation supports evading attacks and aiming. Room-scale play allows crouching, diving, crawling, and rolling into protection. Current content features Small Grunt and Large Golem opponents in Town Main Street. The stated future plan covers additional weapons, areas, foes, abilities, and a more steampunk visual treatment for existing equipment and scenery.
