Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a continuous story campaign may bounce off the repeated run-and-reset structure.
- Those who dislike losing a party and starting another attempt may find the defeat-and-upgrade cycle frustrating.
- Players who require full keyboard control may struggle with the game's partial keyboard support.
- Players seeking a finished release may not fit an Early Access game subject to balance changes and save-data resets.
Our take on Wizlite: Everybody loved RPGs
The bounce point arrives after a full-party defeat: progress converts into SP and permanent upgrades, but the run itself ends. Players who want losses to preserve the current party, map, or immediate dungeon position may stop there.
What is Wizlite: Everybody loved RPGs?
Wizlite is a single-player dungeon RPG presented as a roguelite.
Each run begins with character creation, including race and class choices, before a small party enters the dungeon. Exploration uses three cards at each step, with possible encounters such as treasure, traps, or enemies. Battles use turn-based commands, enemy weaknesses, scrolls, and consumables. Defeat ends a run but awards SP that can be spent on permanent upgrades for later attempts. New skills and upgrades also become available as the party advances. The game is in Early Access, with planned additions including cards, items, and gameplay features. Balance updates may prevent older save data, including SP and unlocked upgrades, from carrying over.
