Our take on Winter Resort Simulator
The focus on machinery and resort operations trades away broader gameplay variety. Construction, finances, weather, ropeway controls, and guest management receive attention, leaving less room for character-driven or combat-focused play.
What is Winter Resort Simulator?
Manage the Hallstein ski resort in an alpine setting using cable cars, chairlifts, snowcats, snowmobiles, snow cannons, pickups, and off-road vehicles.
The 6-square-kilometer map includes five pre-defined ropeways, a village, hotels, viewing platforms, and ski slopes. Operate recreated Doppelmayr/Garaventa ropeways and Pistenbully snowcats, including the Doppelmayr Connect control system. Set ticket prices, manage reputation, take loans, invest in ropeways and facilities, and expand the resort while maintaining guest satisfaction. Dynamic weather and variable snow conditions affect the setting. Produce artificial snow and blast avalanches from risky hillsides. An editor and sandbox mode support construction of ropeways and ski resorts, while modding allows additional ropeways and vehicles.
