What is Windward Horizon?
Windward Horizon is an open-world naval RPG where each campaign uses a procedurally generated map.
Players can trade, follow quests, fish, dive for treasure, fight, or sail without pursuing a specific objective. Towns and provinces respond to supplied resources, while faction support can change who controls a province. Ships can be rebuilt around armor, cannons, speed, ramming, or support roles, and can be replaced with larger vessels such as Schooners, Frigates, and Brigantines. Leveling provides talent points across Defense, Offense, and Support paths, with cross-specialization builds. Crew, mates, and captains add further abilities. The game supports solo play and co-op, with progress from the 10–20-hour demo carrying into the full game.
