Our take on WindStop Strategy
Its defining structure is the split battle system: players first prepare skills and positions, then watch both sides execute actions in turn order.
What is WindStop Strategy?
WindStop Strategy is a strategy RPG set in the Jianghu of Windstop Valley.
After a massacre destroys Hu Yan Men’s peaceful life, SITU LAIYE becomes its leader and must manage the sect, develop strongholds, recruit characters, and navigate rival factions. The world map uses region-suppression strategy, with decisions about resources, alliances, attacks, and retreats. Battles have two stages: players prepare skills and positions before combat, then characters act in turns to attack, support allies, or protect wounded teammates. Each character has an individual growth path, strengths, weaknesses, and possible combat roles. Separate dungeons add traps, distinctive locations, storylines, battles, and rewards. The game also includes a built-in mod editor and Steam Workshop support.
