Our take on 岚零之风 - Wind Horizon
The defining structure is the split exploration schedule: two protagonists investigate the island separately during daytime and nighttime sections, while light and shadow alter their abilities in combat.
What is 岚零之风 - Wind Horizon?
On the remote island of Lanling, forest animals disappear after a storm.
Luo Ling returns to the forest to investigate and encounters the cause of the disturbance, along with a mysterious outsider. The game lets players control two protagonists while exploring the island during daytime and nighttime sections. Combat is turn-based: before a character’s turn ends, that character can move freely, attack an enemy, or use an item. Abilities differ between areas of light and shadow.
Attacking enemies grants CP, which either character can spend during battle to strengthen a skill or perform a follow-up attack. Three difficulty settings are available: Easy, Normal, and Hard. The complete game takes about 7 hours and is presented as a short story with a prequel connection.
