Is Mists of Noyah worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Co-op players who want survival gameplay organized around day and night phases
- RPG fans who want base rebuilding alongside quests, talents, loot, and character levels
- Players who enjoy gathering, crafting, farming, and defending a shared fort
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a short, linear adventure may find the repeated gathering, rebuilding, and defense cycle too system-driven
- Players who prefer consistently paced combat may not enjoy switching between daytime preparation and nighttime attacks
- Solo players looking for a game centered on solitary play may find the cooperative structure less suitable
Our take on Mists of Noyah
Rather than treating survival as a continuous scramble, the game divides its structure into distinct daytime and nighttime jobs. Exploration and collection give way to fort defense, while recurring full-moon attacks turn progression into a repeating preparation-and-assault cycle.
What is Mists of Noyah?
Mists of Noyah is a cooperative survival RPG set around an abandoned fort damaged by corruption.
During daylight, players explore, gather wood, iron, gold, ores, plants, and food, and search for survivors who can help restore the stronghold. Night shifts the focus to defense: players regroup with rescued inhabitants, build towers, and fight monsters. Demons attack the fort every full moon and grow stronger with each assault. The game includes five playable heroes, quests, character levels, talents, familiars, more than 10 biomes, dungeons with three difficulty types, equipment modifiers, crafting, farming, building, enchanting, and resource gathering through mining, fishing, lumber work, and herbalism. Events, bosses, rare creatures, relics, perks, achievements, and a corruption system add further progression.
