Our take on Wheelchair Simulator
Players who struggle with demanding movement controls may bounce off when unexpected obstacles turn city navigation into repeated failures. Those seeking a purely serious presentation may also stop at the sarcastic narration and comedic treatment of mishaps.
What is Wheelchair Simulator?
Wheelchair Simulator is a comedic city game built around the experience of navigating inaccessible urban spaces in a wheelchair.
Players follow an interactive, voiced story by Dmytro Schebetyuk, whose commentary includes jokes and reactions to actions and failures. Remade controls, unexpected obstacles, and challenging levels create frequent spectacular mishaps. Completing levels quickly and collecting coins allows wheelchair customization, including a Hot Rod model. The game also includes Easter eggs such as Duck Souls mode and a bonus level. It is a non-VR version of Wheelchair Simulator VR. The game is based on Schebetyuk’s experience after a spinal injury, and profits are donated to Dostupno UA, an initiative supporting accessibility programs in Ukraine.
