What is Way Back Witness?
This turn-based RPG follows Matcina, a girl from another world who sets out to find her way home.
Her journey crosses seven countries, where she meets characters, sees different landscapes, and witnesses an empire's fall and the creation of a new future. The story follows one main route: tasks and choices can change some characters' and events' directions, but not the main ending. The game includes more than 45 hours of play and extensive main and side stories. Characters have individual skill sets, and party combinations can be changed after meeting certain conditions.
Weapons and armor can be combined freely, with accessory orbs available for insertion. Hidden conditions and tasks can unlock additional characters. Battles rely on turn-based decisions involving skills and items.
