Our take on Warp Frontier
The emphasis on decisions affecting thousands of people suggests a broad consequence system, while the stated 6–8 hour length frames the experience as a compact adventure. Its core remains point-and-click puzzle solving, relationship choices, and alternate endings rather than an expansive space simulation.
What is Warp Frontier?
Set in 2215, police Captain Vincent Cassini probes a wartime atrocity connected to the vanishing of thousands of Cetans, among them his former wife and closest companion.
Assisted by the robot MAC, he joins forces with ethically dubious figures while pursuing a longstanding adversary and exposing a hidden plot. This point-and-click adventure uses puzzles and decisions about family, friends, allies, and foes. Choices and task order reshape relationships, determine the fate of many people, and produce multiple conclusions. Exploration spans Cetus, its orbital slums, and the surrounding planetary ring, reached by Cassini’s ship. The game uses 2D science-fiction artwork, an alternate human history, predominantly Australian voice performances, and music by Thomas Regin. A complete playthrough takes 6–8 hours.
